The Centre for Climate-Smart Agriculture (CCSA) recently received a courtesy visit from the Director of the Centre for Dryland Agriculture (CDA), Bayero University, Kano. The visit provided an opportunity for technical discussions on strengthening collaboration in climate-smart agriculture, digital agricultural solutions, and data-driven approaches to enhance productivity in Nigeria’s dryland regions.
During the engagement, both institutions explored potential partnerships in research, capacity development, and innovation to support farmers, agribusinesses, and youth-focused agricultural programs.
The visit underscores CCSA’s commitment to fostering strategic alliances with leading agricultural research institutions to advance sustainable and technology-driven food systems in Nigeria.
