CCSA Visits Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Food System to Explore Collaboration

The Centre for Climate-Smart Agriculture (CCSA) recently conducted a strategic visit to the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems to explore the history and evolution of Lagos’s agriculture and food systems, as part of its efforts to deepen food‑system transformation and explore potential partnerships.
During the visit, CCSA engaged with senior leadership of the Ministry, including the Honourable Commissioner, Ms Ruth Abisola Olusanya, the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Fatai Audu as well as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture and Food Systems Mr Gbolabo Olaniwun and other top officials of the Ministry.
The meetings provided an opportunity to share insights on climate‑smart agriculture, data‑driven interventions, and innovative approaches toward strengthening agricultural value chains and food systems in Lagos.
This visit underscores CCSA’s commitment to leveraging knowledge exchange and collaboration with state governments to promote sustainable, technology‑enabled, and climate‑resilient food systems across Nigeria.
