CCSA Participates in Ecosperity Week 2026 in Singapore

The Centre for Climate-Smart Agriculture (CCSA), Cosmopolitan University Abuja, participated in Ecosperity Week 2026, held in Singapore from 18–21 May 2026, a global sustainability platform convened by Temasek focused on climate innovation, sustainable finance, and resilient development.
CCSA was represented by Dr Rislan A. Kanya, Chief Executive Officer of CCSA, and Dr Emmanuel Njoku, Senior Research Fellow, Venture and Markets Research Group, and Chief Executive Officer of Prezzoshed Group, a Nigerian sustainable solutions provider.
During the event, the delegates engaged in high-level discussions on climate-smart agriculture, Carbon and Nature Credit, sustainable water systems, and nature-based solutions, focusing on building partnerships for scalable innovation in food systems and climate resilience. The platform also served as a strategic meeting point, enabling the delegation to engage with collaborators and strengthen ongoing international partnerships.
Notably, CCSA held discussions with the Director-General of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) the only Nigerian delegate present during which both parties agreed to explore collaboration on climate information services, weather intelligence, and early warning systems to support climate-smart agriculture and resilience-building initiatives in Nigeria.
CCSA’s participation reinforces its commitment to advancing applied research and fostering global collaboration to support sustainable development and climate adaptation across Africa and beyond.
