Moustapha Binta is a Nigerian social entrepreneur and educator dedicated to empowering young people through innovative programs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Calabar, Nigeria (2004), a Master of Science in Sustainable Development Practice from Osun State University, Nigeria (2024), and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the same field. With a robust background in science education, Moustapha has taught and served in administrative roles across various educational institutions. She is currently affiliated with the Centre for Climate Smart Agriculture at Cosmopolitan University, Abuja, Nigeria, while also contributing as a Development Volunteer Consultant. Her areas of expertise include digital inclusion, women in technology, environmental protection, climate governance, and tech diplomacy. Fluent in English, French, and two West African languages, she leverages her linguistic skills to foster cross-cultural collaborations. Passionate about innovation, she has supported numerous hackathons, innovation challenges, and climathons. Moustapha was honored as the 2019 World Environment Day Hero in Zinder, Niger Republic, and is a 2014 TechWomen Fellow under the U.S. State Department. Through initiatives like 100 Women in Tech Nigeria and Cabinet Hub Zinder, she has championed digital inclusion, advocated for women in technology, and contributed to environmental protection efforts across Nigeria, the Republic of Niger, and Silicon Valley, San Francisco, USA.
